Naturally Raised
Oak Grove raises Registered Hereford cattle like Poplar Springs. Along with raising beef, we also locally source our pork and provide customers with pork options as well. Oak Grove will be investing their future in providing local chicken. All of our beef and pork products are frozen and vacuum sealed by a USDA inspected facility. In 2024 we are reaching back into meat birds and are investing in that.

Oak Grove History
Oak Grove is a part of the original Poplar Springs Farm. Oak Grove was separated in the 1930's when the second residence was built on the property by James Crump and Minnie Saxby Talley.
The current property is owned by Richard and Ashby Talley. The original house has since been torn down and a new one rebuilt. Along with the house, Richard and Ashby own the 10 acres that make up Oak Grove Farm. This parcel of land is still connected to Poplar Springs.
